App store optimization (ASO)
Discovery starts in the store, so we localize for it deliberately. Engineering for iOS and Android
Each platform has its own localization mechanics, and we handle both natively. On iOS we work with .strings and .stringsdict files and Xcode localization; on Android, with strings.xml resource files and the resource-qualifier system. We manage plurals correctly for every language, respect placeholders and format specifiers so nothing crashes, plan for text expansion that strains a phone’s small screen, and support right-to-left layouts. Where useful we pseudolocalize first to catch hard-coded strings and layout problems before translation begins.
